THE OAKLAND CHAPTER TRAVEL TROPHY

For the 2024 riding season, Oakland Chapter has decided to start a “Travel Trophy” competition. This trophy is available to the entire NABSTMC. The intention of this competition is to promote club ridership to more than just local chapters. There is a prize at the end.

Putting Smiles on Little Faces

The Oakland Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club paid a visit to FACES SF to share the rich history of the Buffalo Soldiers and let the little ones get a real close look and listen to a motorcycle. As you will see in the video below, the kids had a ball.

EARTH DAY 2023

On April 22, Oakland Chapter gave back to our community by cleaning the San Antonio Park located in Oakland. This has been an on-going project for years. The changes for the park are noticeable and It's a good feeling to know that we are a part of that change. It's an added bonus when several of the city's leaders dropped by to say "Hi".

Congratulations to our 2023 Scholarship Recipient
Ariana Brown-Bankhead

Ariana was one of Berkeley High School's top students, graduating early and will be attending New York University for the Fall 2023 Semester

Ariana has won the local award from the Oakland chapter and has advanced to the next round where she has a chance for the National top prize.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH

For Black History Month 2023, the Oakland Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club went to US Army Base Camp Parks in Dublin, CA. Maverick, the chapter Historian gave an excellent presentation regarding the history of the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Calvary from 1866 to 1944.
